Cally comes from Chester and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Sandra Dugdale where she received a first class degree and won the Chris Petty English Song Prize. She completed her masters at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the guidance of Catrin Wyn-Davies, Michael Chance and Dorothee Mields.

2018 saw Cally cover the role of Poppea in Agrippina (Handel) at The Grange Festival, make her role debut as Zerlina in Opera on Location's production of Don Giovanni (Mozart) and perform as soprano soloist in The Merry Opera Company's Messiah (Handel), staged by John Ramster. This year Cally joined the forces of The Sixteen and The Grange Festival to perform a staged version of Handel’s Belshazzar, conducted by Harry Christophers.


Cally has performed as a soloist on Dutch national radio and BBC Radio 3 and 4. She currently sings with the Dutch Radio Choir as a freelance member.
